Troubleshooting

Fixes for the most common connection problems.

The connection fails right away

• Check the URL is exactly https://www.zieads.com/mcp, with www and without a trailing slash.
• Make sure you are logged in to ZieAds in the same browser that opens the sign in window.
• Disconnect the app in Settings, API and MCP, remove the connector in your client and add it again.

401 Missing, expired or revoked key

The key was revoked or mistyped, or the app's token expired and it could not refresh. Create a new key, or reconnect the app.

Tools are missing

A read only key or connection shows only read tools. Reconnect and keep Create drafts on, or create a key with drafting allowed.

Daily MCP limit reached

You used today's calls for your plan. It resets at 00:00 UTC. See limits.

API and MCP is not set up on the database yet

For self hosted ZieAds: run supabase/migrations/20261104_api_mcp_oauth.sql in the Supabase SQL editor.
